Random thoughts

THE FLY.....I have this Dumb Fly. It kept me from Blogging Sunday, I was do busy trying to kill it that I couldn’t Blog….he is still here but I have chosen to ignore him; even though (as my daughter pointed out) he keeps barfing on my screen.

Thing’s seen from T point of view .... said to sister D “How you get up so fast? It’s like one minute you’re sitting the next you jumping around the room. How do you do that?”

My stupid hair and how long has it been this way anyway?

3 day Labor Day weekend, 13th Anniversary weekend, last weekend of summer of vacation. And we haven’t planned one darn thing. Hope J has a surprise in store!!!! I can dream right.

How come at 9 am I have 8 kids and not 3, like when I went to bed?

13 going on 21, I am scarred for these young ladies. Remember Delaney Zutz!!!!

Edit July 26, 2006

I am sorry to Delany’s family for just barely mentioning her story…. I have tried to pull up some old news stories about her case but as a mother I wouldn’t want just those stories shared…. So I will explain how she touched our lives and you can search the internet for the rest….

I hope this helps Delaney’s cousin…..please feel free to tell us more… Your family is still in our hearts!!!

Delany was a 13 year old girl she snuck out of the house late one night and never returned… a 16 year old friend is now in jail for killing her. I don’t know Delaney but her disappearance hit our home. With three young girls I answered many questions about the posters hung all over town. We talked about kidnappers and safety in numbers and about letting an adult know where you are at all times. We even prayed for her and her family. We talked a lot about her missing and even kept an eye out around town … hoping to do our part in bringing her home. My children still remember her name … a name I will never forget.

NO SODA FOR BIRD ANYMORE!!!!!!!!! What a spaz.

BLOG POLL ~should the older sibling get more allowance because of age and the rising costs of their expenses? Even though the younger ones do more without complaint?

The onion....Report from the onion news

New Pepsi Negative-220 Burns Twice The Calories It Contains

PURCHASE, NYÂ
Joining a field already crowded with such non-caloric beverages as Coke Steam and Hollo Yello, PepsiCo announced the creation Monday of Pepsi Negative-220, a diet cola that burns twice the calories it contains. "You'll love PN-220 for the super-slimming rush of thyrotropin, PC1 enzymes, and that zesty hint of lemony leptin that zaps away fat, muscle tissue, and some nerve sheathing," PepsiCo spokesperson Ned Caen said. "But you'll drink it for that refreshing cola taste." Despite an FDA label warning of potential cardiac arrhythmia, renal shutdown, intestinal necrosis, and spontaneous erosion of the meninges, plans are underway to debut Pepsi Negative-220 in early October. "For radical and uncompromising weight loss, it's the cola," Caen said.

Sound healthy to me....I might start drinkingPepsii regularly again.... ;)

Calcutta Firemarshall: ManyIndiann Homes Lack Bride Extinguishers

Calcutta Fire Marshal:
Many Indian Homes Lack Bride ExtinguisherCALCUTTA, INDIAÂ
Failure to own or use a bride extinguisher results in millions of rupees of property damage in India annually, Calcutta fire marshal Prasad Chandra said in a press conference Monday. "This tragedy occurs far too often when well-meaning husbands, attempting to collect on a dowry, ignite their brides indoors. The damage is often compounded when a burning bride attempts to escape and spreads the flames to other homes," Chandra said. "If you absolutely must burn your bride, avoid additional destruction with an affordable bride extinguisher. And, if possible, confine the burning to your backyard bride pit." He also recommended that homeowners install and periodically test marital smoke detectors.

So much pain for such a wonderful person. I thank god it wasn't it the same outcome, for he must of had something do with it. These ladies have all the details...no sense is posting it again.

Fond Memories

I found this through Damon's site ... Not directly. I'm not sure who to credit. At the time I didn't know when or where it was taken'. I still don't know who posted it or even who took the picture.
See I collect pictures, funny picture, pictures that will make you think, I just love photo's. I don't have to be the one taking them although that is a big part of it. Photo's show allot about subject, photographer, and the collector. When I first saw this one I new it had to be part of my collection. I thought it was a great saying, it really made you think "Who would ever do that!!!" (it sounds like my husbands sibling or something they would say) ...So I decided it was my new motto, it would really make people say "huh?" !
I just had to show J when he got home, I was totally excited over my new picture. It is hard to find new ones, yah know. When he saw it he just kind of........Went blank...... Like it was not funny at all. I was so bummed!!!! He sat there contemplating the saying and asked me where I got it. I told him the story he seemed kind of weird about the whole thing. Then he started laughing. I eventually found out that it just brought him down memory lane. He was just so surprised to see it. I would love to hear how the others remember it, let me know?
See J dad' loves to mix left over paint together, it always makes the same color though.... This ugly brown color(remember what Melissa said about the front door of the house). Well this is what four(?) boys will do when they don't want to paint the chicken house Baby sh*@ brown.

Interview

I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!!!!!

Job Hunting

This is something I have procrastinating on...... Finding a Job!!!!!!!! It is not a pleasant experience but one that I need get through. Its not the resume' writing or the hours searching the want ads....
It is the possibility of rejection and the fact that I am not sure what I want to do. I can make most money doing the thing worst thing in the world....
Sitting my butt in an office chair bookkeeping.
I DON"T WANT TO GET AN OFFICE BUTT!!! Yah know the ones...... They are huge and flat from countless hours sitting at a desk eating non-stop with your co-workers. Been there done that!!!!!!!!! Would you want to look like this?

http://www.funnypictures.dk/funny-picture-455.htm

But really I want something more active but I need the money so I can pay day care..... part time jobs are just not out there.

On another note....

I have been reading other people blogs and I feel like I am spying......I don't comment because I feel like I was uninvited... Is that right? Is there a blog etiquette? Should I let these people know I am reading? If its on the web they want to share right? Don't hate me cause I'm stalking you.
