A New Man in Town

There’s a new man in town!!! I think he has been messing with me and you, trying to turn my blog into a meat market, asking me to pimp my sister out. Little does he know I am watching, I know who you are, and now ….can I tell the rest of the world?

This man is a great writer. Annually, around the holidays this man writes a mini-novel, letting us know what an imagination he has, we vie for a place in this book. Who can to the most outlandish thing, to make the annual “Christmas Letter”? I look forward to his holiday greeting as they are the greatest stories around and filled with memories that we would have missed otherwise. I am excited about his blog, I can’t wait to read what he has to say, it will be like Christmas everyday!!!

This is a man that deserves respect, one that has earned it, one that beat my HINNY (another nickname of mine I failed to share) red for not showing it. He is a jokester, but only half of what he says is false… the other half is bullshit! He has been known to cause spontaneous orgasms with just his voice, so we have been told. Not by me of course, his voice would curb any sexual thoughts that I have, and would probably send my husband running in fear. Little kids want his autograph and big kids want his advice.

He is married? YES, and you lonely ladies leave him be, or you will have my ass kicking mama on your tail. My ass kicken’ mama could outsmart and out-walk you. At all of 98lbs. she will tear you up, don’t mess this little lady. This is a lady of control, when I think girl power this lady is it. Independent, sophisticated, attractive, she sets her mind and does it. Let’s see if we can set her mind on BLOGGING! Now that she is retired, she has all the free time.

Okay enough brown nosing…..NOW PRESENTING...Hyperbole Prattle.

That is not what "hyperbole" means, nor is that the correct definition of "prattle", at least not in the context of this style of writing - I had to refer to my old Funk & Wagnal Unabridged Edition to discover the key. Whoever this guy is, he is very astute.

Funny cuz the dudes my dad...and he too would have to look up the definitions...obviously sarcasm is not in Funk and Wagnal.....as for astute...that better mean something under the lines of "cool" or the person who does not want to identify their critiqueing comments....is insulting my family.

I am sorry that I created a rif between sisters because I think both of you are very sweet and I would like to see you in person. But, I did take exception to the one comment about the word meaning of hyperbole and prattle. I am a student of English Lititure and find the writing style of this individual very intriguing and unique. Their ability to enligten us with his writing should be taken seriously and not dismissed as "fast talking used car salesman" or "bullshit". His style of writing indicates that he is open and sincere, shedding just a little light humor in a world where we need it. I have really enjoyed his past few postings, I am printing them and saving them in a book. He is a great writer so before you condem him, perhaps you should get to know him better, Just as I would like to get to know each of you better. Looking forward to his next article.

I want to thank you for coming to my fathers defense...but I can assure you he needs no assistnce. LOL You have caused no problems between sisters. See you need to know the family. We are a family of fun loving pranksters...we also are all writers...unfortunatly this means the pranks will move into our writing...having my father join us in BLOG land is a wonderful opportunity for my sister and I to pick on him back...see we spent an entire night on fourth of July waiting for the fire crackers to quit going off in the fire pit...come to find out "someone" had secretly put fire crackers under the bark of almost our entire wood pile...the only one at the camp site was Mr. Hyperbole Prattle. or as we call him....THE SKUNK MASTER. So I assure you My father is my hero...I also know my father is....well lets just say 95% BS. the other 5% well we are still trying to figure that one out. His writing is wonderful and even if it is filled with Tall Tales and deciphering reality from non-reality is not an easy job...my father tells the truth...as he knows it to be.....
oh ya...getting to know us better would be much easier if you were to come out of hiding and let us know who you are too...As a student of English Lit I am sure you have heard that greetings and salutations are important factors in establishing communication with the written word.

Heidi, She finally caught on as to what was transpiring between her and anonymous - now anonymous has to cloak themselves one more time. Shana, I really do appreciate you coming to my defense and sticking up for me, that is what daughters are suppose to do, especially when the stalker prefers to remain anonymous, hated to see you take that option off your newly designed site. HAGD
